Agri-food Cluster Transformation (ACT) Fund

The Agri-food Cluster Transformation (ACT) Fund supports the transformation of the agri-food sector into one that is highly productive, climate-resilient and resource-efficient. The ACT Fund comprises co-funding components for local farms to build and expand their production capacities and capabilities:

  • Capability Upgrading
  • Technology Upscaling

The ACT Fund is available for applications until 31 December 2025.

Productivity Solutions Grant (PSG) for Capability Upgrading (CU)

The Productivity Solutions Grant (PSG) for Capability Upgrading supports the purchase of farming equipment and systems from SFA’s pre-qualified list (link), and the conduct of small-scale pilot trials to raise farm productivity, resource-efficiency and reduce pollution and waste.

Farmers can also tap on PSG for expenses related to the Clean & Green (C&G) Standard adoption and GAP certification. 

Farmers can also tap on PSG for expenses related to the energy efficiency audit to establish their baseline energy consumption and identify potential areas for improvements to enhance energy efficiency.

Technology Upscaling (TU)

The TU component supports the purchase of large commercial-scale, automated and advanced farming technology solutions that will be integrated with agri-input production, post-harvest and waste treatment technologies. 

Farms that are setting up new farm sites or retrofitting indoor spaces within ready industrial spaces for farming can also tap on this for a one-off support to defray infrastructure and building costs that will be incurred to install farming system(s) funded under this TU component. 

The application period is from 30 April to 31 Dec 2025. Interested applicants may refer to the forms below to apply any time before 31 Dec 2025.

 

Cash Advancement

To help our farms defray upfront costs of technology upscaling, all ACT Fund projects under TU component may be eligible for up to 30% cash advancement. You may refer to the guideline below for more information.
