You may require additional registrations/licences from SFA depending on the activities on your farm.

For example, farm licensees who want to retail food (i.e. sell processed or cooked food to the public) must apply for a food retail licence. For details, see Businesses that Need Licence / Permit for Food Retail.

Likewise, farm licensees who want to process their farm produce into food products (e.g. fillets, salads), must apply for a Licence to Operate a Food Processing Establishment. For details, see Businesses that Need Licence / Registration for Food Manufacturing & Storage.
