Undergraduate Scholarship
This scholarship is jointly offered by SFA together with the two agencies under the Ministry of Sustainability and the Environment (MSE) – the National Environment Agency (NEA) and PUB, Singapore’s National Water Agency. Through this scholarship, SFA seeks to groom and nurture young talents who are keen to develop a career to strengthen environmental resilience and food and water security for Singapore.
There are two application cycles offered annually by SFA.
This scholarship is suitable for applicants interested to pursue or are currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in a local or overseas university in relevant disciplines such as Agricultural Sciences, Aquacultural Sciences, Biological Sciences/ Life Sciences, Chemistry, Food Science and Food Technology, Microbiology, Veterinary Sciences or other related disciplines.

Eligibility | Singapore Citizens or Singapore Permanent Residents intending to take up Singapore Citizenship Applicants presenting ‘A’ Levels, International Baccalaureate, Polytechnic Diploma or equivalent Applicants for mid-term scholarship should have attained at least 1 semester of academic results

There are 2 application windows for the Undergraduate Scholarship, after the release of the GCE ‘A’ Level results in Singapore, and in the third quarter of the calendar year.
Shortlisted applicants will be contacted before end-April and end-September, based on the timing of their application.
