SFA signs Memorandum of Understanding with Brunei Darussalam Food Authority on Food Safety Cooperation

            The Singapore Food Agency (SFA) and the Brunei Darussalam Food Authority (BDFA) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on Cooperation in Food Safety on 20 November 2024.

2          The MOU was signed by Mr. Damian Chan, Chief Executive Officer of SFA and Dr. Hajah Anie Haryani Binti Abdul Rahman, Chief Executive Officer of BDFA.

3          Under this MOU, SFA and BDFA will strengthen cooperation in areas related to food safety policies, regulations and standards, research and development as well as capacity development. These cooperative activities could take the form of networking sessions, technical and knowledge exchanges and work attachments.

4          The signing of the MOU reaffirms the close working relationship between SFA and BDFA as well as demonstrates our joint commitment in working together to strengthen cooperation in food safety.
